Sunrise through the treeline
A few minutes before the frame with the cattails, taken from the opposite side of the same meadow as the sun cleared the treeline. The low light raked flat across the wet grass, laying down long shadows before the fog had a chance to thin out.
Getting the shot
A slightly wider aperture and slower shutter than the companion shot, letting a touch more ambient light in while the sun was still low enough to stay soft rather than blown out.
